A 22-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man will spend 12 years in prison for robbing four CVS stores and breaking into a home.

Alexander Linton pleaded guilty Jan. 19 to four counts of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and one count of burglary, a third-degree felony. Summit County Common Pleas Judge Todd McKenney sentenced him to 12 years in prison Tuesday.

From November 2014 to February 2015, Linton robbed four CVS stores in Stow, Cuyahoga Falls and Akron, stealing Oxycodone/Oxymorphone pills at gunpoint. When Linton was arrested in September, he confessed to the robberies. He also broke into his grandparents’ home to steal money, according to a press release from the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office.
